Combined PV-Wind Hosting Capacity Enhancement of a Hybrid AC/DC Distribution Network Using Reactive Control of Convertors and Demand Flexibility

The integration of Renewable Energy Sources (RESs) into distribution networks has increased in recent years due to numerous advantages. However, the RESs are intermittent and uncertain therefore may cause various limitations such as high lines loading large voltage deviations, especially during generation low demand periods. Thus, this leads an upper limit for integrated capacity network, entitled Hosting Capacity (HC). In paper, complementarity wind-PV along with Demand Flexibility Program (DFP) utilized alleviating increasing HC a hybrid AC/DC network. Moreover, important feature i.e., reactive control Voltage Source Converters (VSCs) is investigated HC. Additionally, tradeoff made between two conflicting objectives, energy losses, which will be excessive increase Generally speaking, paper proposes multi-objective, multi-source, multi-period extended optimal linear power flow model simultaneously decreasing utilizing stochastic programming managing uncertainties. simulation results show accuracy efficiency proposed formulation from perspectives.
